A few months ago, Olaoluwa² told me:

Let's just say I am happy he heard the gospel so much that he made that conclusion. 🤠

We shared so much as we went through highs and lows together.

We had many laughs, some tears, some frowning at and being frowned at, teasing and being teased, even flogging and NOT being flogged 🤠.
It was a beautiful time. ✨

Well, he's back with his parents now, and I miss him. 🥲
It didn't properly hit me till I was driving back home that night. 😭

I'm grateful to God that he now attends my church, and so, we still meet regularly on the weekends. 😎

I'm also happy that he is making progress in his journey of knowing the Lord 🥳, and he's plugged into a church that cares primarily for his soul. 🔌

I am happy to announce that the Whatchu Believe content has finally been reviewed! 🥳

I also completed work on the features for the scheduling platform. ✨
However, it now needs a lot of testing 👨🏽‍🔬. If you would like to help test the platform, please click the button below to indicate interest. 👇🏽

Besides working on the above, I worked with Missional Digerati on Ruminate³. I am looking forward to using it for myself, and sharing it with you when it is ready, {{alias | friend}} 🤗.

I also had a short sprint⁴ with Upstream, where we set up and launched a new app in roughly 2 weeks. That was the fastest we've ever gone from scratch to production 😲, and it was an enjoyable experience too. ✨

In the coming weeks, I plan to test and improve the scheduling platform as required 👨🏽‍🔬, seek and onboard volunteers 🧲, and work towards launching Watchu Believe 🚀...

Lord-willing 🤞🏽

It usually is a joy to share the gospel with people during outreach efforts, and I thank God for the opportunities He's given us to engage in such outreaches. However, one interaction I was particularly excited about was with one Oluwatosin. ✨

Having handed him a gospel tract to read at his leisure 💁🏽‍♂️, he turned around beaming with joy 😃, and said:

What?! Of course! 😃
Let's talk about God! 🥳

He believed Jesus to be the saviour of the world, but he didn't know why He had to die 🤔.

We spent a bulk of our time discussing how God, being just, has to demand payment for the sins of man 👨🏽‍⚖️, and Jesus was put forward as the One to make the payment on behalf of His people ✝️. That way, He is both just, and the justifier of His people, who put their faith in Him. ✨

The highlight for me was his joyful desire to learn about God ✨. It was proof that the Holy Spirit was working in His heart to make him receptive to His word 🥳. I'm particularly happy that he learnt about God's justice 🔥, seeing that Jesus Christ is the only way to escape the punishment we deserve, and be reconciled to God. ✝️

Lately, I've had a lot of experiences that affirm that God sees His people 👀, He knows them more than they can ever know themselves, and He's got them. 😎

Too often, things happen in our lives that make us go "Huh? How? Why? 🤔"

Our tendency, when these things happen, is to try to align them to fit our plans and preconceptions, and we freak out when that starts to prove hard or impossible. 🤠

Most times, we learn, in retrospect, that God carefully designed those things, and there couldn't have been a better way, especially in light of things we're ignorant of. 😁

The other day, I was praying about the content review around 8am:

...only to find out that the review was sent to my mailbox about 2 hours earlier, around 6am. 🤠

The Lord has all things in control, and He's working all things together for the good of His people. ✨

Cast your burdens upon Him, and trust Him with every aspect of your being.
