Life update
I got to catch up with some old friends 🤗, and I also made plans to catch up with many more. Some of these plans fell through 🫣, and some are not even finalised yet. It speaks to how busy the season has been 🥲, but, Lord-willing, I will catch up with those people soon. 🤞🏽
Our church has an outreach ministry for kids where we teach them core doctrines and walk them through The Pilgrim's Progress 🗺️. Recently, I was made a facilitator of this, and it's been a joy to disciple kids in such a way. ✨
I also remember having lots of gospel conversations 💬, some of which were interesting1 😎, some awkward2 🤠, but in all, I'm grateful that I get to witness to people regularly, both collectively (with other brothers and sisters) and also individually, as the Lord gives opportunities. ✨
Earlier this month, we had the first edition of our annual Bible seminar ✨. In this one, we focused on the Scripture, its nature and its message 📖. In a landscape where many people doubt the authenticity and authority of Scripture, we thought it necessary to reaffirm that the Scripture is inspired by God, infallible and sufficient to make one wise unto salvation. 👌🏽
I also got to confess a besetting sin to my pastor recently 😶🌫️.
Not my exact words, but I was like:
You see all the fun parts of me,
and I praise God for those.
Here is a part that's in my face,
and I'm definitely not proud of 🤲🏽🥲He prayed with me, counselled me and gave me some resources that I've found to be helpful. ✨ I'm trusting that the Lord will help me to, more and more, lay aside every weight and sin that clings so closely 🪨, so I can run this race better 🏃🏽♂️.
Ministry update
The review for Whatchu Believe's content should be in progress. 🤞🏽
I reminded the reviewer and he assured me that he was going to start working on it. 💪🏽
I've also taken time to document the ideas I was having for the next phase of Whatchu Believe. 📝 These are now planned out in Linear and, Lord-willing, I'll be working on them after the launch. 🤞🏽

Volunteers can now set up recurring availability slots, and add exceptions where necessary. 🗓️
I'm currently working on the slot engine that would consolidate all volunteers' availability for users to see and pick from. 🛠️

I started a new paid contract with Upstream recently 🥳, and it's been a joy to partner with them in using tech to present the gospel to people in their native languages 🈯.
At Missional Digerati, we are working on an app that allows believers to ruminate on the word of God 💭. My pastor has recently been flagging the importance of meditating on God's word, and I believe (our prayer and hope is that) this app will help many people to do just that. 🤲🏽
Changed Lives
Not too long ago, our pastor shared an urgent prayer request from the HeartCry Missionary Society. 🙏🏽 It was about Shuiling, a daughter of a missionary in Ecuador. She was in critical condition - dying though unsaved. 💔 Believers worldwide lifted her up in prayers (and we still do). 🤲🏽
We received an update recently that the doctors were optimistic about her condition. 🥳 She had begun to respond properly to treatment and she was doing much better than she was earlier. ✨ This was a source of great joy to many of us, not only because Shuiling was doing better, but because we had more proof that God, indeed, answers the prayers of His people. 🙌🏽
We continue to pray and trust God for more relief and recovery ❤️🩹, and more importantly, the salvation of Shuiling's soul. ☦️

for Shuiling, that, beyond getting physically better, the Lord may be pleased to save her soul. 🙏🏽

Something to think about
A theme that has come up a lot for me lately is stewardship. 🤲🏽
Now, this term relates to wise and proper management (and distribution) of resources, and I have had time to think about different types of resources, especially finances. 🏦 However, I've been particularly drawn to time as a stewardship lately. ⏱️
Recently, my pastor was talking about keeping short accounts with God. 💬
At the mentioned of that phrase, I usually would think about not delaying confession - running to God quickly. But this time was different! 😲
My mind instantly went to reviewing my day regularly and discussing with God how I spent the time He gave me. 📆 I remember a leader once telling me about wanting to do the exact thing - this was years ago. 🤠
Anyway, I have resolved to keep short accounts with God in this regard, and I would invite you to join me if you're interested. 🤗
It's pretty simple all you have to do is:
At the beginning of the day, perhaps during your devotion: 🌅
Outline your goals for the day and discuss them with God 🎯
remember: whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. ✨
Live unto God, and try to make the best of every opportunity God gives you. 💪🏽
Check off each item as you complete them ✅
And then at night: 🌇
Prayerfully reflect on the day and review your list 🙏🏽
Praise God for the wins you had 🙌🏽
Discuss unrealised goals and missed opportunities 💬

Think through ways to make better use of your time in subsequent days 💭
