Since the last issue, I’ve spent my time reading and writing (code) 😎. In this issue, we’ll address the already deployed MVP ✨ and some other learnings from this season. 📚

Let’s dive in! 👇🏽

Lately, I've been made to see more clearly that I have a lot of growing to do when it comes to matters of patience and endurance. 😮‍💨

This also seems to be (perhaps one of the issues) at the root of other issues I have noticed and confessed to accountability partners. 🤔 I've found the clarity to be helpful, and I'm praying the Lord continues to teach me to wait patiently for His promises, as opposed to going out of my way to gratify desires. 🥸

The truth is, gratification usually doesn't last, and this becomes a vicious cycle. True satisfaction is always found in God! 🙌🏽 May we increasingly shun broken cisterns and drink from the fountain of living water. ⛲

I've been on the road for a while now, and I really enjoy driving. 😀 

And, to be clear, the impatience above is not in relation to driving. 😅 I've not seen it in that context yet, maybe because I'm just starting out. 🤡 

I've enjoyed it so much, I've even fantasized about racing - on proper tracks, not public roads. 🌚 That's a primitive idea, and I know not what it will become in the future. However, the Lord's will is what will ultimately stand! ✨

More and more, I see the danger of reading Scripture in a way that ends with intellectual growth. 🧠

Beyond the intellectual gains and the ability to effectively communicate the truth of God's word to others, believers are truly profiting from the Word when it is actually applied to their hearts 💓 and brings about a transformation from within. 💖

Having read about this from authors like Arthur Pink 📚, I started to see it a lot more in Scripture 📜. For example, check out Colossians 1:9-12.

Something I was happy to see recently was my Spotify Wrapped for this year. ✨

I believe people are usually excited to see it for various reasons. For me, it's a brilliant opportunity to reflect on what kind of music we've been feeding ourselves for the most part of the year. 🎶

By God's grace, the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for our flagship project has been deployed! 🥳

The hope is that people discard false beliefs as they explore what the Bible says about these subjects. This way, they are gradually drawn to believe the gospel, subject by subject. ✨

I'm grateful this is finally out, and we can now seek concrete feedback and make necessary improvements. ♻️ I will also be happy to work with designers moving on to improve the design of the web app. 🎨

Besides content update, the next phase is about connecting users to solid biblical churches nearby. 💒 The plan is to complete this by the end of next month, Lord-willing.

In the same time period, I intend to begin communication with partner organizations to discuss possible collaborations. 🤝🏽 For instance, we could have interested seminary graduates volunteer to speak with users with questions. 😎

God-willing, we should be done with technicalities by the end of Q1 next year, 🗓️ and will be left with things like reflection, feedback and necessary improvements and maintenance. 🔧

Though filled with ups and downs 🎢, the Lord has indeed used you, even in ways you're not even aware of, to encourage me on this journey, and for this, I am grateful! 🙏🏽 Thank you for your support and partnership thus far. ✨

We go again next year, Lord-willing. 🤞🏽

May we be filled with the joy of knowing that God the Son, according to the will of God the Father, took on flesh and came into this world with the intention of laying down His life to reconcile us to Himself. 🤗

The holidays are upon us ✨, and millions in the world are already in festive spirits. 🎊

Sadly, not many really have a good reason to celebrate. 🥲 The world has effectively made pagan items central markers for a season like Christmas. 😩 Just have a listen to this, and you'll probably feel my pain. 🥲

What significance does the tree have with the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ? 😏 What about the stockings stuffed with candies and presents?

I'm not trying to advocate for an abolishment of these things.
I mean, I'll accept presents and candies 🌚…

BUT could we please be intentional about pointing a dying world to their only saviour. ☦︎ That's where the joy of the season ultimately comes from, and really, it's an unending joy. ☀️ We could start with our neighbours, friends, family members, colleagues, etc.

In light of that, I'll like you to consider with me:

I realize that, depending on when you're reading this, it may be a bit too late to implement it. 🫣

But hey! There are going to be more opportunities in the future (including Easter, etc.), so you can plan towards those too. 📑 Perhaps drop yourself a reminder, calendar event, anything. 🗓️

Hint: Don't set the date to Dec 25 'cause you want to remember early enough to actually plan and do something. 😅
