I used to be quite closed off to work that wasn't directly ministry-related. Now, I'm leaning towards being open to other jobs and gigs, especially flexible ones that let me still engage meaningfully in ministry and outreach efforts. 👨🏽‍💻 I've discussed with friends, accountability partners and pastors, and I'm still praying and trusting God for His guidance and provision. 🤲🏽 I've also been updating my website to reflect this transition, and I'll share it with you once it's ready, Lord-willing. 🤞🏽

I was assigned 3 Christmas hymns to translate into Yoruba. 🎶 I feel some pressure, knowing how loved these hymns are 🤠, but ultimately, I pray the Lord is glorified in the translations. 🙏🏽

I travelled to Ikorodu for a brother's¹ wedding 💍, and the trip back was… very adventurous. 😅 We almost got lost (thanks, Google 🥹), and the car got stuck in mud, but the Lord graciously sent people to help. 🙌🏽 We even had a hard (but good) conversation about whether to give in to cultural practices with occult motivations when just passing through. 🤔 We praise God that we made it home that Saturday night! ✨

Also… there's someone very dear to me I'd love for you to meet. 🫣

Oh, and thanks to God, those stomach aches from last time are now a thing of the past. 🥳

By God's grace, Watchu Believe is live, and people from different countries have been using it since launch! 🥳 Thank you for praying that the Lord would warm my feet. He lit a fire too. 🔥🤠

Since launch, I've:

VidPro² got a much-needed redesign. 🎨 A sister church has asked to use it too, so Lord-willing, at least one more church should be using it in a few months. 🤞🏽

And finally… I've been thinking a lot lately about what it would look like if social media came with a leash 🦮 - one that forced it to be more helpful than harmful. ✨
I think this may be the birth of my next project. 🌚

Since launch, a decent number of people have gone through Watchu Believe, and about 10% of visitors have gone through the whole gospel presentation³. ✨

Now, we can't say how many of them are saved. Only the Lord knows that. 🙌🏽 But we rejoice that people got to hear the gospel, subject by subject, and that in itself brings glory to God. 🙌🏽

Please pray that the Lord will be pleased to save these and many more people, and build them up in Christ. 🤲🏽

Recently, I was driving towards a traffic light that had been green the whole way, with no car ahead of me. Just as I reached the stop line, it switched to yellow, too suddenly for me to stop safely, so I went through. 🚦 Right after, traffic wardens ambushed us under a bridge and accused us of running a red light. 🧐

We explained to no avail. They kept lying, and implicitly stalling for a bribe. When it was clear they weren't getting any, they insisted we go to their office to see "camera footage". 📹 We got there to find just a counter for paying fines. 🥲 And they even denied ever mentioning "footage", to our faces. 😬

It was infuriating! 😡

However, I found it humbling to remember that Christ was also lied against. Though He made His accusers, He didn't open His mouth, and on the cross, He even prayed for their forgiveness. ✝️

We sin. But Christ never sinned. Not once. Yet, He went through all that anyway. It was a privilege to taste a small measure of it, and to appreciate Him all the more. 🙇🏽‍♂️
